When we first met as flatmates at uni in the UK, starting a company together was the last thing on our minds. We were just three friends trying to figure out what came next, hoping we'd find a way to stay close after graduation. Starting a company? Turns out, that's one way to do it.
We would talk about wanting to build something that felt like ours. Something timeless, that could carry nostalgia and value beyond its years.
Two of us had grown up riding. There was something about being on a bike, the freedom, the clarity, the way you'd get attached to it over time. It would become a part of your story. The third had grown up surrounded by that same passion, conversations about cars and bikes, watching that automotive culture shape the people around her. When we started talking about it, it clicked. We'd all grown up with this in different ways, and suddenly we were connecting over something we didn't know we all shared.
We'd talk about the things people actually keep. Cars that still spark stories at dinner tables. Bikes that outlive their owners. Heirloom watches that carry family history. These, till date, remain some of the few things people buy to keep.
To use every day. To mean something. The more we looked at them, the more we realized they're all built with the same intention, precision, purpose and design that lasts.
And being part of that tradition? We couldn't resist. Automotive-inspired watches were the natural fit.
And so, Avarth came about.
We draw from the automotive world, where engineering meets artistry, where machines become meaningful.
Built deliberately. Made to endure.
Created for the long term. For people who appreciate what goes into making something right.
'Avarth' /ˈʌvərθ/ draws from the Sanskrit word 'Avartana,' meaning repetitions or cycles.
Revolutions - of wheels, of time, of thought. It reflects our belief in constant momentum: building, learning and figuring things out in real time.
Every component is designed with a craftsman’s touch and an engineer’s eye - merging power, motion, and beauty.
